IBPS exam: IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2013: Apply for IBPS Clerk 2013 Exam

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced dates for its next Common Written Exam for the recruitment of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Participating Organisations listed below. This exam will be conducted online by IBPS tentatively in November/ December 2013.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age (As on 01-08-2013) :

Candidate’s age must be in between 20 to 28 years, i.e. candidate must not be born before 02-08-1985 and not later than 01-08-1993 (both dates inclusive).

(Relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt. Guidelines for Reserved Categories will apply)

Educational Qualification:

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Computer Literacy:

Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute. Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Exam Pattern:

The structure of examination which will be conducted online is as follows:

For every wrong attempted question there will be penalty of 1/4^th or 0.25 marks.

Application Fee:

-Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates

-Rs. 600/- for all others.

(Bank Transaction charges for online/offline payment will have to be paid extra by the candidate)

How to Apply:

Candidate can apply online from 19-08-2013 to 07-09-2013.

Candidates are first required to visit IBPS’s website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “CWE Clerks-III” and then click on option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE- Clerical Cadre (CWE Clerks - III)” to open the On-Line Application Form.
Now candidates will have to fill their basic details and upload in the online application form. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines.
